HAWKE x Made Build

This season we had the opportunity to partner with Daryl Powell and the team at Made Build.

The Team

Not only are Made Build long-time friends of Hawke, but they have also established themselves as one of the most renowned and passionate residential builders in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula; specialising in constructing custom built, architecturally inspired, coastal masterpieces.

We visited the guys on-site at their latest project in Blairgowrie and got their team of Project Managers, Carpenters and apprentice Carpenters to put our new gear to the test.

  

The Boss

Daryl is a third generation builder with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career as an apprentice Carpenter and attended night school to gain a certificate in Building and Construction and Diploma of Building and Construction. After obtaining his qualifications, Daryl worked in the Commercial Construction sector as a Site Foreman for a large Melbourne construction company before going to complete his residential builders licence.

 

The Ethos 

The team at Made Build work with Victoria’s leading architects, interior designers, building engineers and developers to construct functional, sustainable and aesthetically inspiring residential developments.

They are all about creating long lasting relationships with their employees and clients with an emphasis on collaboration. They believe communication is at the heart of delivering a premium home; and maintain regular and transparent dialogues with the client, architect and design teams to ensure that their visions are realised.
